Thai-vedic Massage School
I’m currently offering 4 different massage training courses, aimed at either complete beginners or already qualified Massage Therapists, There are 3 full body massage courses and 1 Indian Head Massage course:
- Ayurvedic Deep Tissue Massage
- Thai Yoga Massage
- Abhyanga Deep Relaxation Massage &
- Indian Head Massage.
All courses are taught on a one to one basis. I have a list of massage clients who have volunteered to be practice bodies for my training courses. So you would benefit from practicing on various type of bodies.
Each full body massage course is bookable separately online as 5 x 1 day courses (details below – with an option extra 6th day of Advanced Stretches for the Thai Yoga Massage course) so if you just want to try one day of training before you commit to learning the whole massage routine, or would like to try a day of each type of massage before deciding which type of massage you would like to learn, you can!
The 5 day courses can be taught at your own pace: all at once in 1 week or spread out over 5 or more weeks on days that suit your diary.
Indian Head Massage can be completed in 1 day only.
After completion of all 5 days of the full body massage routine, or the 1 day of Indian Head Massage you will also need to undertake and submit written records of several practice sessions/ case studies (10 for the full body massage course, 5 for Indian head Massage) of people you have practised on with videos of your technique so I can assess how well you are performing the massage. After completing all your case studies, you will receive a certificate which will enable you to get insurance from Salon Gold or Holistic Insurance which will allow you to practice.

Ayurvedic Deep Tissue Massage Training
Learn this slow, meditative deep tissue massage originating from Goa in India. The massage uses deep strokes with the fingers, fists, forearms and elbows and incorporates joint rotations and yogic stretches.

Thai Yoga Massage Training
Love receiving Thai yoga massage? Why not learn this dynamic ‘sacred dance’ as its sometimes called. Learn a range of compression techniques, rhythmic rocking, yoga stretches and lifts.

Abhyanga: Deep Relaxation Massage Training
Learn this deeply relaxing Ayurvedic massage originating from in India. The massage uses heated coconut oil and fast, rhythmic strokes, with the therapist’s palms, thumbs, knuckles and forearms. Learn over 3 weekends or 6 days scheduled by mutual agreement.

Indian Head Massage Training
Performed with the client seated on a chair, this invigorating head, neck, shoulder and arm massage works wonders for head aches or simply for clients who want to de-stress with an express treatment. This is a 1 day course.
